Raeo.

A private app for iPhone

Be the friend you mean to be.

Raeo checks in before and after you see friends, building a living memory of every relationship so you show up ready and never lose touch.

Free. In beta, so some of it is still rough.

Tonight

Dinner with Sarah

7:30pm · Bar Isabel

Last time she was still waiting to hear back about the promotion, and quietly thinking about Barcelona. She mentioned her mum had a scan coming up. You know what to ask.

Remembered

The loop

You don’t care less. You just can’t remember everything.

The job situation, the relationship thing, the thing with their parent. You knew all of it, and then four months went by.

  1. 01

    It reads your calendar

Raeo notices when you are seeing someone. Nothing to set up, nothing to maintain, and it never writes to your calendar.

  2. 02

    It briefs you beforehand

A short, warm note about what was going on in their life last time, and one good thing to ask about.

  3. 03

    It asks how it went

A quick conversation afterward. You talk, it listens. No blank page, no forms, nothing to fill in.

  4. 04

    The memory compounds

From those chats it builds a living portrait of each friendship. The longer you use it, the more it knows.

The debrief

One question at a time.

No blank page and no forms. Raeo asks how it went, you answer in a sentence, and it quietly keeps the parts that matter.

Below is a scripted preview, not a recording of a real person.

How was dinner with Sarah?
Really good. We stayed way past closing.
That's the best kind. How did she seem to you?
Lighter than usual, but the promotion is still hanging over her.
That waiting is its own kind of tiring. I'll keep hold of it for next time.

Privacy

The notes you keep about the people you love.

They are the most personal thing you have got. Here is exactly where they go, including the part most apps leave out.

Stored on your iPhone

Your friends, threads and follow-ups live on your device. There are no accounts, and we keep no copy of your memory on our servers.

Calendar is read-only

Raeo reads your calendar to know when you are seeing someone. It never writes to it, and you can revoke access any time.

Chats pass through a relay

This is the part worth saying plainly. To reply, your message goes through our no-retention relay to an AI provider. It is not kept, and it is not used to train models.

On iPhones that support Apple’s on-device models, some of the memory work may happen on your device instead. Read the full privacy policy.

Why this exists

We gave work infinite memory. Calendars, notes, reminders, systems for everything. Then we went home and tried to hold the most important relationships of our lives entirely in our heads.

Raeo is the argument that friendship deserves the same infrastructure we gave everything else. Not to automate it. Just so the thread is still there when you pick it back up.

The awkward questions.

Is this a bit creepy?

It would be if Raeo watched your messages or your friends. It does not. It only knows what you choose to tell it after you have seen someone, in your own words. Nothing is scraped, and nothing is read on your behalf.

Does this replace actually caring?

No, and it is designed not to. Raeo hands you the thread and then gets out of the way. The last line of every brief is a version of you know what to ask. The conversation is yours.

Do my friends know they are in here?

What you save about a friend is your private note about your own life, the same as writing it in a journal. It stays on your device. It is never sold, never shared for advertising, and never used to contact anyone.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Raeo is free.

What does not work yet?

It is in beta and built by one person. Calendar support covers what your iPhone already syncs, and some of the memory features are rougher than others. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise.

Raeo is coming to iPhone.

Leave your email and we will tell you when it is ready. That is the only thing we will use it for.

Your email is used to tell you when Raeo is ready, and nothing else. See the privacy policy.
